Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description

  • OS installation/Build, Deployment, Infrastructure Management, Troubleshooting & Handle tickets
  • Software Support - Software installation, Deployment Support & troubleshooting
  • Basic Networking/VOIP telephone support.
  • Basic VC Room & Infrastructure support
  • Hardware Incident/issue tickets – Repair/support, Replacement, Hardware deployment at user-desks, Log calls for defect with H/W vendors (Dell and others) and ensure replacement/repair, Return of defective parts to the vendors.
  • Support degaussing activities
  • Support for movement & assembly of assets during restacking/movement/BCPs/Power Maintenance
  • Support special projects on Hardware deployments, installs & power-on/shutdown on BAU and special projects
  • Support desktop and related infrastructure at meeting/VC rooms.
  • Managing H/W assets at IT Stores, Stores Upkeep and maintaining inventory in tools.
  • Perform Physical inventory of IT Assets.
